Graham Capill soon up for parole
23 April 2008
Child sex offender Graham Capill is eligible for a parole hearing, just three years into his nine year sentence
After three years of a nine year jail term, convicted child sex offender Graham Capill is about to get a parole hearing.
The 49-year-old former leader of the Christian Heritage Party was jailed in July 2005 after pleading guilty to rape, indecent assault, and unlawful sexual connection charges relating to three young girls.
Under the terms of sentencing laws at the time he is able to have a parole hearing after serving a third of his sentence.
That hearing is understood to be set down for late June.
