Watson Jury To Take Day Off
The Watson jury will not be sitting in the High Court in Wellington tomorrow. One of the juror’s has asked for a day off for personal reasons.
More boat owner’s testimony was heard today.Lower Hutt garage owner, Gerard Van Opdorp , testified that he would have noticed a blue-striped ketch in the Marlborough Sounds because the colour scheme was similar to his own vessel, Talaria. He stated that he had been in Punga Cove, Endeavour Inlet and around the Sounds during the time period Olivia and Ben disappeared but had never seen a ketch like the one in the police sketch.

The jury will resume its duties on Monday 5th July 1999 in the Wellington High Court.
