Monday 12th July : More New Year’s revelers talk of late night events
New Years’ party-goers spoke in court today of loud noises heard near the Tamarack’s berth early on New Years’ morning 1998.
Robyn Meehan spoke of a man grabbing her right hand with his left hand, that was either missing fingers or with fingers that were fused together. She said the man attempted to lead her into some nearby bushes saying “Come with me”, at which point she pulled away and returned to her friends.

d she was sleeping onboard a friend’s boat that was rafted to the Tamarack at some time after 2am when she awoke hearing a vessel nearby. She said she didn’t get up to look. Under cross-examination she said she was awoken again at around 7am and saw the mast of a boat leaving Endeavour Inlet.
