Tues 24th Aug. - Evidence suppressed at Scott Watson trial
Much of today's evidence at the Scott Watson double murder trial in Wellington has been suppressed.
Justice Heron placed interim suppression orders on evidence from several witnesses today, the reason was also suppressed.

However, one witness whose identify can be revealed told the court Watson seemed agitated when his boat was seized by police investigating the disappearance of Olivia Hope and Ben Smart.

Andrew Averill [AV-rill] told the court when he asked Scott Watson jokingly if he had raped the pair, he was taken aback when the accused said quite seriously he wouldn't do such a thing.
